What's Going On

January 06, 2026: You might have noticed some of our 2025 Projects... We've added fencing, resurfaced the walking path, added internet, cameras & lights to Gilcher-Crissman. Lights have also been installed at Orchard Hills Park. We fixed the roof at the Romeo Community Center, added a Synthetic Ice Rink to Bruce Twp Park and an Ice Rink at Washington Twp Park in the Tennis Court to name a few things.

Commission (May 30, 2026)

Commission Calendar, Meeting Packets & Minutes are posted for the 2026-2027 year. Commission meetings are also available On Demand through WBRW TV (Michigan Community Media, Inc.) - search Parks & Rec.

5 Year Plan (December 08, 2025)

Our 5-year plan is a way to plan for the future and stay on track with development. This document will be filed with the County & State and allow our department to apply for grants. We use the plan as a guide but are constantly planning for the next plan.
